Our Vision
 And the Glory of the Lord Filled the Temple26 This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to his own holy people. 27 For it has pleased God to tell his people that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. For this is the secret: Christ lives in you, and this is your assurance that you will share in his glory. 28 So everywhere we go, we tell everyone about Christ. We warn them and teach them with all the wisdom God has given us, for we want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ. 29 I work very hard at this, as I depend on Christ's mighty power that works within me. Colossians 1:26-29 PASTORAL VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT Vision represents the goals and direction that God has given to the Pastor for the uplifting of Jesus Christ our Saviour and the ongoing Ministry of the Stone Temple Church. We are a living Church with vision, for where there is no vision the People Perish. VISION It is the vision of Bishop Fitzpatrick to advance the Kingdom by providing effective teaching, preaching and by introducing various bridges to building up the people of God. It is his desire to build the people of God by preaching, teaching and training. The ministry wants to build in people self-esteem, self-confidence and a faithful reliance on God. Building People is achieved by Preaching and Teaching that God's word is Life Giving and Life Changing. The Preaching and Teaching of God's word bring people to an understanding that God's word is a powerful influence on their everyday lives. God has called me to preach and teach that through the word of God, People can build a life of Self-Sufficiency in Christ. God has called me to preach and teach that through the word of God people can build a life of Self-Esteem, for with God all things are possible. We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. Building A Church By Building People Through Teaching and Training helps people know that success in life comes from knowing the God that made us, knowing the Christ that saved us, and knowing the Holy Ghost that Sustains us. It is Christ who gives us our strength; For the Joy of the Lord is our Strength. |
