Our First Lady
Pastor Reshorna M. Fitzpatrick is the founder and Pastor of Proceeding Word Church in Chicago, Illinois. The Lord placed it in the heart of Pastor Fitzpatrick to organize Proceeding Word Church in 1999. Proceeding Word Church is a non-denominational body of believers who are called by God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit to spread the Gospel Message to all nations. The messages taught and preached by Pastor Fitzpatrick are scriptural, substantive and sincere. The God-inspired messages preached at Proceeding Word are designed to produce an overflow of "Unconditional Love" within the "Body of Christ" that transcends beyond social, economical, spiritual and cultural barriers to seek and save them which are lost. Pastor Fitzpatrick offers God's Proceeding Word to help renew the minds of people providing them the tools needed to walk after the spirit and enjoy Abundant Life "now" and Eternal Life "later." Pastor Fitzpatrick received biblical and pastoral training under the leadership of the late Pastor Katie Moon at Good News Community Church, where she was a faithful member for over 25 years. In 1996, her pastor licensed her as an Evangelist. She was ordained by her pastor in 1999. Pastor Fitzpatrick enrolled at The Urban Ministries Institute, in Chicago, Illinois, where she received additional theological training. Pastor Fitzpatrick earned her Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration and has since earned a Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology and a Master's Degree in Theology from North Carolina College of Theology. Pastor Fitzpatrick has also received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from World Christianship Ministries. Pastor Fitzpatrick is an avid teacher of God's Word. She has designed and facilitated conferences, workshops and seminars on various biblical principles and teaches leadership courses for ministries at local churches. In 2007, Pastor Fitzpatrick, along with her husband, Bishop Derrick Fitzpatrick, co-founded Dominion College of Theology, a Satellite college of North Carolina College of Theology. The opening of Dominion College of Theology fulfilled a lifelong dream of Pastor Fitzpatrick. Pastor Fitzpatrick is a bi-vocational pastor. She is currently employed by the Chicago Public Schools as a Hearing Officer. |
