A Call to Prayer – National Day of Prayer will take place Thursday, May 1 from 7am-7pm at the Pavillion Square in Downtown Starke. Pray for neighbor and nation. Someone will be praying for the entire twelve hours. Stay a little while or all day, just come and pray. Thank you in advance for your participation and especially your prayers.
As a reminder, for those of you attending this year's Family and Friends Retreat in St. Simons Island, GA September 5-7, remaining balances are due on or before Sunday August 3. A copy of the retreat letter is located on the information table. You do not have to be a member of True Vine to attend. Please contact Sis. Yolanda Hankerson if you have questions. As always, we plan to have a fantastic time and look forward to seeing each of you at the retreat.
Calling all honor roll and special achievement awards students! Report cards and special achievement awards are due to Sis. Yolanda on or before next Sunday, April 27. Students will be recognized on the first Sunday in May.
Calling all 2025 True Vine high school and college graduates! Please submit all graduation information to Sis. Yolanda Hankerson by Tuesday, April 29. The second annual walk in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and Education will take place this Saturday, April 26 at 9:30am. The walk is sponsored by the Shirley Ann Brown Livingstone Scholarship Foundation and organized by Minister Carolyn Spooner breast cancer survivor. The 2.2-mile walk will begin at Mt. Pisgah AME church in Lincoln City. If you would like to donate to the scholarship funds that aids local students pursing their education in medical fields such as nursing, cancer research. pharmacy, physical therapy and other related fields, please contact Min. Spooner.
The Concerned Citizens of Bradford County is sponsoring May Day 2025. The date is Saturday, May 3 at 11am. Celebrate the spring alongside a Community Health and Wellness Resource Fair. Activities to include a softball game, kids' corner with bounce houses, a senior citizens corner with bingo, food trucks and vendors and the plaiting of the may pole. The event will take place at the RJE Complex on Pine Street. Each of you are cordially invited to attend.
In friendly reminders, the monthly food distribution with Feeding Northeast Florida and True Vine will take place this Wednesday at 9am at the Philadelphia Baptist Church in Lawtey. If you are planning to volunteer at the distribution, please come with a mind to work. If planning to attend the distribution, please pack your prayers and your patience.
