Dominion Children's Academy  This
ministry is committed to build and develop in each child a foundation on
which he/she can become an active, participating, believer in the
church. A child which will grow up to become a bold and powerful
ambassador who will be winning souls for our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ. In order to build and develop this foundation we as a group of baptized believers should provide every opportunity to ensure our children the freedom to worship God in spirit and in truth. In the book of Proverbs, the Bible tells us to train up a child in the way which he should go and when he is old he would not depart from it. This world in which we live in has extended an invitation for our children to come and take a part in. It is up to the family and the church to train up our children in the way they should go. (Proverbs 22:6)  Several years ago one of my husband's former
members became ill and was hospitalized. When his condition improved and
he was ready for discharge, he could only be released to someone that
could provide around the clock care for him. He was subsequently
released to an assisted living facility; his only option.While in the assisted living facility, he described what a horrible experience it was. The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit dwells within our
hearts. Proverbs After School Tutorial The
purpose of the After School Program will be to help better the minds of
our children and encourage them to further their education in a higher
school of learning. The objective for this ministry is to equip the
saints for the work of the ministry. We are committed to equip children
spiritually, mentally, physically, and educationally. This After School Ministry will not only benefit the children in our ministry, but it will serve other children in the community and the surrounding areas. We believe that every child should be given the opportunity to excel in reaching for excellence. Alcohol and Substance Abuse Ministry The purpose of the Alcohol and Substance Abuse Ministry is to help anyone who feels that they may need help with a drug or alcohol problem, according to the guidelines set by the alcohol, narcotics, and cocaine anonymous format. Women's Ministry The purpose of this ministry is to build strong and effective Christian Women by helping them to discover and walk in their creative purpose! This shall be done thru worship, training, fellowship, and service. We believe that women were created to be solutions to problems according to Genesis 2:18. Avalon
Outreach Ministry The purpose of this ministry is to give back to the
community. The vision of Macedonia
Christian Ministries is to win the lost and to lead them into a life changing
relationship with God, by teaching the Word God. The Avalon Outreach Ministry is focused on
bringing the Word to the entire community!
We have bible study every Thursday night at 6:30pm on the grounds of the
Avalon Apartments (3737 Cusseta Rd, Columbus GA 31903). |
The
purpose of Macedonia Christian Ministries Praise Team is to lead the
congregation in praise and worship for the first thirty minutes of
worship service. Before we can enter into worship, it is necessary to
understand the true meaning of worship. We can only give true worship to
God from our spirits. John
