Lecture Time: Saturday 11:00- 1:00pm

Lecture Location: Unity Room Suite A (conference room)

Office Hours: Tuesday- Thursday (appointment basis only) To schedule an appointment please send your request by e-mail. I will make every attempt to answer promptly however; e-mail sent late afternoon will get a response the next day.

Course Description:

An introduction to a comprehensive study of Christian Theology. To give Christians a deeper knowledge of God through Revelation, The Authority of Scripture, and Christian Hope.

Course Outline:

I. The Task of Theology

II. The Meaning of Revelation

III. The Triune God

IV. The Good Creation

V. The Person and Work of Jesus Christ

VI. Confessing Jesus Christ in Context

VII. The Holy Spirit and the Christian Life

VIII. The New Community

IX. The Finality of Jesus Christ and Religious Pluralism

X. Christian Hope

Grading Policy:

Examinations: FOUR TESTS AND A FINAL EXAMININATION will be given during the semester. THE LOWEST TEST WILL BE DROPPED.

***FINAL EXAM CAN NOT COUNT AS THE DROPPED TEST***

ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE TESTS ON THE ASSIGNED DATES.

Final Examination:

It is compulsory to take the final exam. If you do not take the final examination, you will fail the course, even if you have enough points for a "C" or a "D"!!

GRADE:

TEST: 60%

Final Exam: 15%

Homework: 15%

Quizzes: 10%

The numerical equivalents of letter grades are: A, 100-90; B, 89-80; C, 79-70; D, 69-60; F, below 60

Attendance: class attendance is required and attendance will be taken on regular basis during the semester.

Lateness: if you are more than 1 minute late you are late. After 5 minutes you are tardy. Abusive tardiness will not be tolerated.
