Our Pastor

Bishop Designate Dewayne Johnson is as charismatic about ministry as he is about the manifested presence of God through praise, worship, and the living Word. A beloved pastor and shepherd, his ministry expands over 25 years of dedicated service in a myriad of venues.

He is the founder and visionary of Total Full Gospel Outreach Church where he serves in all areas of the five-fold as identified in Ephesians 4:11. A native of Columbus, Georgia, Apostle Johnson received his initial teaching and baptism at the St. Mary's Apostolic Church of God. As he continued to mature in the Word as well as his Christian relationship, Apostle Johnson sought God concerning the purpose of his life. He was ordained as a minister in 1986, founded Total Praise Full Gospel Church in 1999, and was affirmed an Apostle in July 2010.

In addition to his collegiate accomplishments, Apostle Johnson is a prodigious musician and song writer. His first recording, Under an Open Heaven, was released in 2007. His 35 years of music ministry has allowed him to compose countless songs and arrangements for various choirs and psalmists.

He has written several teaching curriculums that cover new members' orientation, church order and government, training for ministry gifts and deacons, and intercession through praise, worship, and dance. In addition, he is an author. His book "Third Dimension Vision Pushers" was published in May 2010.

Apostle Johnson's love and passion toward the people of God compels his charismatic, no-nonsense style of preaching and teaching. He is personable, caring, concerned, and industrious. His generosity extends past the pulpit and is evident in the manner in which he gives and serves others.

Apostle Johnson is married to his long time sweetheart, Elder Juanita Johnson. They have three children, George, Arielle, and Jessica.
